Bond-splitting behaviour of post-installed rebar

Part 1: Review of the Existing Bond-Splitting Model & Design to EN 1992-1

Post-installed rebar connections are an integral component for all construction projects. They work differently compared to post-installed anchors and can only be designed as such assuming a concrete strut prevents cone breakout. An internal bet practice assessment document (EAD) exists to qualify post-installed rebar as cast-in bars and this qualified system ensures the safety and longevity of your designs. During this webinar, we will be going through the concept of post-installed rebars, bond splitting behaviors, assessment & design of cast-in bars and the design limits with the current model of post-installed bars under EN1992-1
