Why RE 500 can not be used in masonry?
in the base material section, it is specified that re 500 v3 can be used in concrete. why it can not used in masonry? why only HY series chemical can be used in masonry?

Hi Sanjay,
RE500 V3 is a epoxy mortar for concrete-to-concrete and steel-to-concrete connections, which is more brittle and smoother in nature. Hence it will not make a bond with Bricks, so not approved for them.
HY270 is Ultimate-performance injectable hybrid mortar with approvals and specifically manufactured for fastenings in all masonry materials.
