Difference of Embedment of ETA and ACI
why do mechanical anchors such as HST3 and HSA have fixed embedment depth in ACI, but can vary in ETA?

Hi Philip,
ETA tested and approved HST3 anchor last year for deeper and variable embedment depth. This provides flexibility and optimization in designing.
ACI has not tested and approved any mechanical anchor for variable depth yet.
