Design with 1 layer of rebar in PROFIS Rebar

Can I design with just 1 layer of rebar instead of 2 (top and bottom) in PROFIS Rebar?

Thanks for your inquiry.

We can use Profis Rebar software with having 2 layers of rebar at top and bottom only. There is no provision in software to select single rebar either at top or bottom.
We suggest to use 2 numbers of 8 mm diameter rebar in the layer where you do not wish you have rebars. Also, no need to apply a load on this layer of rebar.
