Concrete Edge Failure

Hi Hilti, please refer to the attached document page 4 of 8.
I have inputted 899kN shear load to y-direction, but the concrete edge distance in y-direction is infinity.
Hence in the calculation, the concrete edge failure is taken to be in x-direction.
May I know how the load 359.6kN was calculated in the software for x-direction? Because the user input for shear in x-direction is 0kN.

Hi Ng, each anchor is subjected to 89.9kN shear load (i.e. 899kN/10 anchors). In determining concrete edge failure in X-direction, only 359.6kN (i.e. 89.9kN x 4 anchors) shear load is used as design action instead of 899kN, considering this shear force is taken by the 4 anchors located nearest to the X-direction concrete edge.
