Features & Applications

Features

  • Labour-saving alternative to beam clamps – this solution helps to bring the speed and efficiency of stud fasteners to a wide variety of MEP installation work
  • Helps to avoid steel re-work – steel coatings are unaffected by the S-BT or X-BT studs and couplers
  • Easier to install – access to the supporting steel is required from one side only, making this solution ideal for fastening MEP supports in hard-to-reach areas
  • Higher vibration resistance – virtually maintenance-free
  • Design support available – you can use the online MEP Selector tool to quickly find support structures optimised for your exact requirements

Applications

  • Fastening single pipe rings, trapeze rod, cantilever brackets and head rails to steel I-beams
  • Fastening threaded rod to steel using S-BT screw-in threaded studs
  • Installing piping, air ducts and cable supports in mildly corrosive environments
