1. Can ON!Track be used only for Hilti tools?
Hilti ON!Track is a manufacturer-independent asset management system. You can manage tools, plant, and consumables from any manufacturer or brand.

2. Are the QR tags suitable for construction sites?
The Hilti QR tags are robust tags designed for the construction industry. They have been tested in harsh conditions like concrete tumblers, water jets and heat. The QR tags come in different sizes to suit your specific needs.

3. Where is the data stored?
The data is stored on our Hilti secured servers in Europe. We conduct regular tests to ensure the security of your data at all times.

4. Why does Hilti offer ON!Track as a cloud solution?
The cloud-based software system ensures a central and synchronous way of storing your data to give you access at any time via the internet and your smartphone. It enables your software and app to be updated automatically each time a new release is available.

5. How much does it cost to set-up ON!Track for my company?
Our Hilti ON!Track consultants will be glad to provide you with an individual and non-binding offer. If you would like to arrange a consultation, contact your Hilti Account Manager now.

6. Why does Hilti ON!Track not have GPS?
Hilti has decided for the time being to develop a cost-effective solution that provides you with more than location information. For instance, with ON!Track, you will be able to transfer any piece of equipment from one location to another, or to an employee, as we have found accountability to be a major concern for our customers. A GPS-based solution cannot provide you with ownership information. In addition, a GPS-based system requires the tags to have their own power supply which would make them bigger and much more expensive, so less suitable for all your assets.

7. Does Hilti have access to my data with ON!Track?
No, we do not have access to your data, as part of our Data Protection compliance which is detailed in the contract.

8. Can I test ON!Track?
We are happy to arrange a demonstration by one of our ON!Track consultants. Just inform your Hilti Account Manager.

We offer support every step of the way. Your journey will start with a visit from one of our consultants who will conduct a full analysis of your business and design a customised solution. Then, we support you on the implementation and the training of your team. And finally when you are live, we stay at your disposal to answer any questions you may have and provide you regular tips to help you get the most out of your ON!Track system. Mobile usage

1. Does the use of the ON!Track app cost anything?
The app is free to download from Google Play Store or App Store. You get unlimited asset tracking usage as soon as you subscribe to ON!Track.

2. With which mobile devices can I use the ON!Track mobile app?
You can use the Hilti ON!Track app on any Android or Apple smartphone. The minimum system requirements are: Android 4.0 or higher; iOS 8.x or higher and iPhone 4S. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store or the App Store .
