Hilti repairs or replaces, free of charge, all tools that suffer defects as a result of faults in materials or manufacturing over the entire life of the product.


No-Cost coverage for up to 1 year

With Hilti tools you incur absolutely no repair costs for up to 1 year* from the date of purchase. This includes:

Pick-up and delivery service

Labor costs

Repair or replacement of all defective parts as well as parts subject to wear and tear**

Servicing when indicated by the service indicator light on the tool

Functional check, adjustments and safety check after every repair

Free calibration with standard certificate (excl. data) for active Hilti laser tools

The following limitations apply
* For heavy diamond tools with operating hours, 1 year or 100 hours, whichever occurs first. For TE 500-X breakers, the no repair costs period is half a year.

** Cut-off saws, angle grinders, vacuum cleaners as well as batteries, charges, rig stands and accessories are excluded from Hilti Lifetime Service. Pistons and buffers of powder-actuated tools are excluded too.


Lifetime repair cost limit

After the 1 year No-Cost period, you are only required to pay a maximum repair cost limit of the corresponding tool in the event of a repair.
